This sports car has four wings, arranged in pairs. For road use, they are stored inside the car, but for flight, they can be unfolded. When the distance between the two nodes and the fuselage changes, the angle of attack of the front and rear wings changes in opposite directions. The starboard and port wings can be moved independently of each other, enabling all the functions of a conventional tailplane to be performed by changing the angle of attack of the four wings alone. This means that a conventional tail unit can be dispensed with, for example at the rear of the aircraft, significantly reducing drag. A turbine is integrated into the body of the car, featuring a characteristic air intake at the top and an air exhaust at the rear. The video clip provides an impression of the manoeuvrability of this innovative flying car.

Diving and climbing during flight. Compared to birds, the maneuverability of airplanes seems complicated. The climb, descent, and curved flight of man-made airplanes require the activation of different adjustable surfaces, such as the rudder, elevator, and ailerons. In contrast, a hawk demonstrates unsurpassed maneuverability using only its wings and tail. What would a future airplane look like if it followed this natural role model? Could an airplane be maneuvered mainly by wing adjustments? The RES-Foldable Airplane features a new maneuvering system for aircraft airframes. Its foldable airframe comprises a fuselage extending between a bow and tail segment, as well as four wings forming a square with nodal elements. The nodal elements at the bow and tail segments of the fuselage are connected in such a way that the distance between them can be varied during flight by shortening or expanding it. An airplane with a rhomboid wing arrangement will climb by shortening the distance and descend by widening it. Curve flight is possible through separate adjustments to the starboard and port wings. Changing the distance between the nodes results in an opposite change in the angle of attack of the front and rear wings, which are connected by the outer nodes.

Welcome to the virtual maiden flight of this small regional aircraft. The following considerations went into the design of the aircraft : A rotating wing generates much more lift than a rigid wing. The central part of a three-part wing section can be designed as a supporting spar rigidly connected to a central axis of rotation and serving as an abutment for a pivotable nose segment as well as for a pivotable trailing edge segment. Since the future of flight will be electric, electric motors are integrated into the center spar of the rotor blades to enable a variable suction side of the asymmetric wing profile. The fuselage is teardrop-shaped and can be opened extensively on the starboard and port sides to facilitate passenger boarding and cargo loading and to eliminate the need for a center aisle. The vertical take-off aircraft has a hybrid propulsion concept with a rotor for vertical take-off and a propeller arrangement at the tail for an operating speed of more than 300 km/h. With the center section of the bracket-shaped rotor blades, the aircraft can hold its position very precisely in hover flight and accelerate from hover flight in any direction. The rotor is has a folding design with witch the aircraft will fit into a larger garage.

This elegant aircraft is equipped with a redundant propulsion system comprising two independent electric motors that drive the rotor, enabling it to fulfill the requirements for both road transport and electric flight. The rotor blade comprises three distinct parts, with the central component serving as a load-bearing spar that houses electric actuators for controlling the leading and trailing edge segments of the blade profile. The vertical component of the bracket-shaped rotor acts as a propeller, generating significant lift using double-decker blades. The longitudinal section of the rotor blades, which are parallel to the axis of rotation, contributes to the aircraft's excellent maneuverability. The central rotor shaft is driven by two independent electric motors, each with its own power supply. The blade adjustment actuators are also redundant and, in the event of a total power failure, this rotor craft can fly by auto-rotation.

Welcome to the virtual maiden flight of this small regional aircraft! The following considerations went into designing the aircraft: a rotating wing generates much more lift than a rigid wing. The central part of the three-part wing can be designed as a supporting spar that is rigidly connected to the central axis of rotation. This spar serves as an abutment for both the pivotable nose and trailing edge segments. As the future of flight is electric, electric motors have been integrated into the centre spar of the rotor blades to enable variable suction on the asymmetric wing profile. The teardrop-shaped fuselage can open extensively on the starboard and port sides to facilitate passenger boarding and cargo loading, eliminating the need for a centre aisle. This vertical take-off aircraft has a hybrid propulsion concept, comprising a rotor for vertical take-off and a propeller arrangement at the tail, enabling an operating speed of over 200 km/h. The centre section of the bracket-shaped rotor blades enables the aircraft to hold its position very precisely during hover flight and to accelerate in any direction from hover flight. The rotor has a folding design, enabling the aircraft to fit into a standard-size garage.

To be a leader, you have to be a pioneer! This new bus, which can fly through the air, is making its virtual debut here. The concept is based on the idea that one large rotor is more effective than several smaller ones. The rotating wing provides lift, which increases in proportion to the square of the speed. This enables the transportation of up to six passengers from point A to point B using electric propulsion. The outer vertical wing section of the bow-shaped rotor blade acts as a propeller, further enhancing the system's efficiency. The central rotor shaft is driven by two independent electric motors, each with its own power supply. The blades' integrated actuators for adjustment are also redundant, and in the event of a total power failure, this rotorcraft can fly by auto-rotation. Airworthiness has been proven by simulations and the design includes redundant safety provisions. A calibration has also been performed for the electric gear integrated in the load-bearing centre spar. Finally, the concept is attractive because of its innovative nature. Those who lead the way in future development set an example for their competitors.
